Online Marketing

I’ve worked on hundreds of online marketing projects and their websites, big projects, small projects, niche, national campaign strategies, and I’ve learned how an effective online marketing strategy is more than just building a website. Creating effective content, mapping out the the best way to present and navigate that content, making the experience “sticky”, understanding conversion goals, connecting email, social media, and other communication channels, these are key requirements. Perhaps Most Important, understanding the business/organization offline. Plain and simple, effectively translating purpose and utility online, if I’ve done just that the project was certain to find success.

Here are a few examples:

Clothing and Apparel E-Comm Website Streets Ahead already had “street cred” in the industry, but online they had a simple website without much content or search engine optimization. The project was to create a simple and clean WordPress website for the main content areas of the website, store locator, contact forms, press, etc., and then use Magento to power a new online shopping cart. An extensive catalog of products is sold and managed through the cart. Image touch-up was also performed across the site’s content. link:

Real Estate Agent Website The project was to create something more appealing than the existing basic template website. It also needed to be client-editable, property listings, community information, and other tools and resources. Beyond web design/development, we created a large body of keyword-researched content (over 200 pages), targeting a variety of local communities in and around Pittsburgh PA, with an angle towards organic search engine results. Additionally, an interactive map connecting 3rd-party real estate data, as well as social media profiles creation/integration all aid the user experience. link:

Beauty Salon Website A website that takes appointments and sells products via a third-party cart, perhaps the most fun with this project was helping assemble and create a viral video for the client’s product line. Also assembled various photo shoots. I created and implemented local SEO content, and local business profiles which really boosted local business. An excellent local SEO and social media project. link:
